Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) as a caricature of the famous Southern Railway (SR) ‘Little Boy’ poster to poke fun at Southern Railway’s homely style. The LNER wanted to project a very different image - it considered itself to be more professional. However, for all its wit and artistic merits, this poster was not as popular with the public as the Southern Railway one and was not re-issued.
