Raggedy Ann and Andy need no introduction, for their cheerful presence has been with us for more than 80 years. Their creator, Johnny Gruelle, was a skilled illustrator of many children's books, but Raggedy Ann and her friends are his most beloved creation. Here the dolls seem to be beckoning the viewer into their gentle world.
