Be a Marine/Free a Marine to Fight 0000-4124

The message is perfectly simple--the U.S. Marine Corp is looking for a few good women, not to place them in harms way, but rather to tackle less hazardous jobs in order to free up men for combat duty. It may seem a tad sexist today, but at the time, it was a recruiting technique intended to appeal to an option that few women considered--joining the Marines. Naturally, they wouldn't put a woman on a poster who looked offended to be doing menial tasks such as check-down paper work, so to that end they utilize this spit-and-polish brunette, obviously proud to be doing her part to win the war, displaying the rank of sergeant to boot.
