In the 1930s, Ripley's ""Odditorium"" was a standard sideshow feature of American World's Fairs - as a money-making venture, to be sure, but also to prove to the public that the ""wonders, miracles, freaks, monstrosities and almost-possibilities"" Ripley had been drawing in his syndicated column actually existed. This was one of the posters that hung in the Odditorium windows at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Rare!
