Seductively posed in a revealing dress and ermine cape, the performer affects the soulful look of a femme fatale. She had been already a headliner in Paris revues when she was personally selected in 1926 by Florenz Ziegfeld to star in the unusual Florida edition of his ""Follies"" which was staged in Palm Beach that winter; her portrait was, in fact, on the program cover. Rare!
