Another French-language poster for the German Grand Prix, the very last one to run before World War II broke out some five weeks later. A good design by Hierl, giving the swastika prominence by planting its pole right up front. The German dictator arrived in his Mercedes limo; it must have gratified him that a Mercedes - driven by the indefatigable Rudolf Caracciola - came in first.

*Images are purposely low resolution on this site, actual prints are well focused and the cleanest possible editions. We remain true to the original poster's size and best resolution. We retain the original aspect and as high a resolution as possible of the artwork. There will be white space around the image as we do not alter the original dimensions of the art when printing.
