Anton Utrillo executed at least two posters for this Barcelona Cafe which featured billiard tables as its chief attraction; in both of them an elegant lady is prominently in view, so as to assure women that it is a respectable place for them to patronize. The artist composed the scene well, putting the billiard action into a rather indistinct medium distance so that the group in the foreground stands out in contrast.

*Images are purposely low resolution on this site, actual prints are well focused and the cleanest possible editions. We remain true to the original poster's size and best resolution. We retain the original aspect and as high a resolution as possible of the artwork. There will be white space around the image as we do not alter the original dimensions of the art when printing.
