Bibendum Michelin Tire Man Poster 0000-0923

Although the Michelin man leads a very active life even to this day, this is one of the handful of time that he's been spotted riding away on a bicycle- appropriately enough since the poster promotes the manafacturer's bicycle tires, which the placard on his back assures us are 'The Best and the Cheapest'. Of course, this physical exertion doesn't in the least deter him from puffing away on his then-trademark stogie. This unsigned work was designed by O'Galop, the artist who created the durable Bibendum in 1896.
