IVeme Foire Internationale de Prague 0000-0631

Ever the popular mythological emissary, Mercury - the Greek god of commerce and science always likely to make an appearance in the advertising of any event with a technological bent during the first part of the century - envisions a black-and-white relief of the host of this international trade fair within the arch of a brandished laurel wreath. Representative items of the fairs offerings lay at his feet, including textiles, electronics, stoneware and a spectacular Art Deco caduceus, all recreated with near-photographic flair and set against a granite background for maximum visual appeal.
