According to the poster, the Oil of France was ranked first in its class at both the 1933 and 1934 Monte Carlo races, leading any intelligent consumer to conclude that since Antar admirably held up to the rigors of road rally, it obviously could handle the everyday needs of the average motorist. Litle is known of Pecnard, though it could be said that he was proficient with oils, motor oils, that is. Aside from this panaoramic design he created for Antar, he also designed several posters for Castrol during the same time period.
