Moulin Rouge 0000-0172

Whether you were up for an evening of musical distraction or sophisticated wit, looking for a touch of romance or just somewhere to leave the daily grind behind, the Moulin Rouge was the place for you, a place where you could find all this and more under one windmill, Of course the night birds of Paris were abundantly aware of this, but a sparkling trinket such as this never hurt the cause any. Belon was a painter whose designs, often in a humorous vein, were regularly exhibited in various French galleries between 1910 and the year of his death, 1927. His posters are not numerous, but always interesting.
