Grand Aviation Meeting of Lyon 0000-0110

A photographically rendered Fokker sails through tri-toned, flat color-block skies above Lyon, the Place Bellecour and the Lantern-tower clearly visible in the shadow relief distance, to promote an air show organized by the Rhone and Southeast Region aviation clubs. In addition to hosting the final leg of the Zenith Cup, the air show included in their list of participants some of the finest French aviators of the day and a formation flight by the 35th Airborne Regiment as part of the aerial activities. The design was also used to promote a 1928 Lyonaise aviation event with identical graphics and different text.
