Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote a publication by Joseph Adams entitled 'Salmon and Trout Rivers Served by the LNER'. The poster shows two fish swimming in a river. Artwork by Verney L Danvers, who ran a school of commercial art and was commissioned to work for fashion and interior design companies. He designed posters for the LNER, Southern Railway (SR) and London Tranport.
