La Victoria Aduino 0000-4418

In his authoratative compilation, "Cappiello: The Posters of Leonetto Cappiello," author Jack Rennert remarks that "The fellow filling his cup of espresso while leaning out of a train compartment represents the very essence of the dash, even if we only catch a glimpse of him from the back. No doubt the efficacy of the gleaming Victoria Arduino espresso maker and the ease with which it turns out a fine steaming cup of the product is the message here. An instructive demonstration of the artist's mastery of graphic solutions" (p. 241).
