An unusual design in that, as a rule, clowns never reveal their true personality; here, however, thanks to Kraper's dual-faceted design, we are treated to a before-and-after peek at the real Grock. Swiss-born Karl Adrien Wettach became the toast of Europe, originating some of the all-time classic pantomime bits of clowning, such as the attempt to sweep the circle of spotlight off the stage.
