A silver roadster soars across the finish line of the German Mountain Grand Prix being held at Grossglockner, a peak in the German Alps. Although we are given only one style of racer, the mountain race was also open to motorcycles and sport cars. It is rather provocative that even though this particular event took place less than a month before the German invasion of Poland and political tensions were at a fever pitch, the international nature of the race is prominently touted in the design, with several Allied powers clearly in attendance.
