This Viennese Poster bears the signature ""Dryden,"" the name Deutsch used when he left Berlin for the City. He was the natural choice for a poster to announce a race sponsored by the Vienna Women's Wear Firms, as fashoin design was his specialty. And when he focused on fashion, his desighns became freer and more exuberant, using the freeform quick sketch technique. It worked quite well in his Vienna-period posters.
