Zambelli-Bassi 0000-1357

In a festive Let them eat cake sort of way, Mauzan once more turns his attention to Zambelli-Bassi pasta. This time the noodle in question is tortellini an din addition to this hungry mask, a bit of text weaves a local proverb as told by La Signera Cattareinna of figs not being the best method with which to fill ones belly when Bolognese tortellini can be found. A lovely paganish quality also pervades the design, as if Zambelli tortellini was a surefire way to appease a hungry deity. In other words, the food of the gods. Abondanza!
