Wearing chandelier earrings and not much else, a voluptuous allegorical figure invites us to follow her to this auto show in Geneva. The Swiss-German Krawutschke, a resident of Zurich, was one of two posterists commissioned by the Geneva committee who had determined that no local talent was up to the task. We don't know what Vevey artist Francois Gos came up with, but Krawutschkes pin-up caused an uproar, in the pages of Passe Partout the following year a columnists recalled the astonishment of the public in seeing displayed on our walls the charms of an enormous woman more than half-undressed who was claiming to be the personification of the automobile industry. Rare!
