The jagged little pill of merciless seduction plays itself out with seething melodrama in this Fenneker design for The Driving Force. The film, an independent production during a time of Germanic cinematic monopoly, once more has no recorded plot information. Its production notes, however, would seem to indicate that it was a rather ambitious project, filmed at the Lixie Atelier in Berlin-Weisensee, with exteriors shot in St. Moritz and the Italian Riviera.
