Hotel St. Gotthard/Lugano 0000-2787

The golden glow of the setting sun suffuses the whole landscape in a tranquil mood, assuring us of a peaceful vacation in Lugano, on the shores of Lake Lugano, in southwestern Switzerland tight on the Italian border. The hotel's name is the same as that of a much better know Hotel St. Gotthard in Zurich, and may have been a branch. This is an exceptionally handsome design, even by the usual high standard of Swiss tourist posters, and unlike most of them, it is not signed. Moreover, it is quite rare.
