Sinopico commenced a career in graphics with satiric illustrations for magazines, then started entering design competitions for posters until his talent was recognized. He brought to the fields an innovative approach to stylization, which can be seen here in the way he worked the coats-of-arms of the three participating regions of northern Italy into the wake of the racing car.
