Vino Amargos 0000-2689

A bitter wine advertised as an aperitif and digestive aid is offered to us by an opulently gowned young lady in an early art-nouveau design, complete with peacock-pattern ornamental border. The meticulous draftsmanship is a hallmark of one of Catalonia's pioneering graphic artists, Lluis Labarta i Grane, whose main specialty were bullfighting posters but who could also do other work quite competently, as this design amply proves.

Giclée Art Prints are printed on museum-quality art paper.

Our modern black wood frames are handmade in the USA and feature acrylic glazing and quality matboard.

All of our images are digitized from the original artwork or original negative, then printed and assembled in the USA to museum standards by our master printer.
