Cooper, who went from Canada to England during WWI and settled in London in 1922, produced dozens of distinguished posters, many for the L.N.E.R., all featuring strong, high-contrast colors. Here we have an elegant golfing scene in subdued grays and teal blue. From 1936 to 1940 Cooper was principal of the Reimann School of Industrial Art and wrote an interesting how-to book titled Making a Poster.
