Don was a prolific illustrator whose specialty was portraits and posters of stage and screen celebrities; otherwise, little is known of him. Here, he tries his hand at a subject matter slightly different from his typical fare and succeeds brilliantly: The seductive long libbed beauties embodying the above listed seasons, the vivid blue of the Mediterranean, the palm trees all work in perfect unison to proclaim the allure of the Riveria.
