1932 Monaco F1 Grand Prix 0000-0277

One of Falcuccis most brilliant designs conveys the tranquility of the Riviera scene shattered by speeding racers. In 1932, the previous years winning driver (Monte Carlo resident Louis Chiron) led in the opening laps but then got involved in a crash when the car in front of him ran out of control. That gave the race to Italys Tazio Nuvolari, driving an Alfa Romeo Monza 8C.
