The promise of a scant twenty-hour Mediterranean jaunt easily serves as bait for those inclined to wander, while the lush colors and dramatically contrasting North African coastline would have little trouble reeling in the imagination of any individual who has too long been focused on the Northern European landscape and harbors an unquenchable yen for sultrier climes.
